Robert Yocum, Santa Fe B. and B. Foreman Dies While at Work. Robert B. YOCUM, 67, bridge and building foreman for the Eastern division Santa Fe railroad, died suddenly late yesterday afternoon at his work in the Santa Fe shops. Death was attributed to heart disease. He lived at 715 Branner street. Yocum came to Topeka from Jefferson county 22 years ago and had been an employee of the Santa Fe the past 32 years, all of that time in the bridge and building department. He was a member of the A.O.U. W. Lodge. Survivors include: the widow, Mrs. Laura YOCUM; four daughters, Mrs. Arietta GOTT, Mrs. Maude KIETH, Topeka; Mrs. LaVeta KEELER, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Blanche WARD, Turner, Kan.; two sons, Edward of Topeka, and Earl of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, R.A. YOCUM, Topeka and Everett YOCUM, Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Emma COX, Topeka, and 17 grandchildren.
