From Gaylord, Kansas go east on Hwy 9 for 3 mile, turn right onto Hwy 281 and continue south to 300 Rd. Turn east onto 300 Rd. for 8 1/2 miles to AA road then south on AA Rd 1/2 mile. Cemetery sits on the east side of the road. Land was given by James and Mary Goheen to Trustees of the Rose Valley cemetery and church for $5.00. Established Oct 29, 1881. Filed Jan 11, 1882. The cemetery is no longer in use and some of the stones are very hard to find in the flowers that have spread around them. Robert Gillis and I visited this cemetery in May of 2006.
