Kunze died at his home southeast of Bloomington, Nebraska, Friday evening, July 10, 1908. Mr. Kunze was aged 58 years, 5 months, 20 days. He was born in Prussia, January 20, 1850. He came to America with his parents when 7 years old. The family settled in Richardson County, Nebraska, where he grew to manhood. He homesteaded in Smith County in 1873, where he lived at the time of his death. He was married at Humbolt, Nebraska, August 15, 1875, to Miss Susie F. Long. They had 9 children, 7 of whom survive him. He leaves to morn 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Additional Comments: Ferdinand arrived in America, with his parents, on The Betty, June 1856. Ferdinand and Susie Kunze had the following children all born in Smith County.
