Wedding Anniversary. August 10 being the ninth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles TUBBS they gave a fine dinner to their new home. This splendid dinner consisting of turkey, fried chicken, cakes and pies and many other good things which was nicely prepared by Mrs. Tubbs. After dinner guests were entertained by some fine music played by Chas and Ray Tubbs. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Tubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Carpenter and children, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Tubbs and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tubbs and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rob. Carpenter and children, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Carpenter and baby, Mrs. J.A. Carpenter, Mrs. Clyde Griggs, Fred Carpenter and Eddie Baird. They all departed for their home wishing Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Tubbs many more happy wedded years and pronouncing them royal entertainers.
