V.F. WARREN went to Colby, Tuesday. L.P. DEANS, family is all down with lagrippe. Brewster has a blacksmith now, who can be depended upon. Mr. Frank DORLAND, of Quickville, has started a shop here, and expects to stay as long as there is any work. Chas. PETTY has taken up his abode in town, and with his brother, Pearl, Frank TUBBS and Frank DORLAND, will keep bachelors hall, in the old Melvin building, on main street. Some parties, from McDonald, Kan., took the train here for Topeka, where they went to identify a gentleman who had passed some bogus money on them at their place of business. It seems that the fellow was making ten dollar bills out of twon, but was unfortunate enough to be caught.
