Rosa Letta ACHE, was born in Lower Sancon, Northampton Co., Penn., Sept. 28,
1878. Died at Atchison, Kansas, July 28, 1917, at the age of 39 years, 10
months. When a child she moved to Kans., with her parents. In 1900 she was
united in marriage to Geo. RAYFIELD near Horton, Kans. In 1903 they moved to
Thomas Co., Kansas where they lived until 1912, when they moved to Atchison,
Kans., where she lived until her death. She leaves a husband, three children,
Roy age 16 yrs; Eva age 11 yrs; Earle age 8 yrs. Also two brothers, and three
sisters, J.S. Ache, of Atchison, Wm. H. Ache of Halls, Mo., Mrs. Eber SHIFFLETT,
of Atchison, Mrs. D.D. HARCLERODE and Mrs. E.J. HOWARD, of Colby, Kansas.
She was ill several months, but bore her suffering with a strong faith in God.
She was a kind and loving companion and mother and will be greatly missed in the
home. The funeral services were held at Atchison on July 30, conducted by Rev.
A.J. Haggett, of the Baptist church of which she was a member. Burial in Mt.
Vernon cemetery.
