Dorothy CONNELLY, daughter of Hon. John R. Connelly and wife, died at the home in Colby, Tuesday morning with diphtheria, after an illness of about ten days, at the age of eight years. The child was quite ill, but the family still had hopes that she was not dangerous, until a short time before her death, when the family phoned for the father who had gone down town, and the family as called in, and but a short time elapsed till the child had passed away. Dorothy was a bright, cheery little girl, and to be so suddenly called from them is a shock to the deeply bereaved family, as well as the town, and Mr. and Mrs. Connelly and family have the deep sympathy of the entire community in this, the first death that has come to darken the home. The child was laid to rest in Beulah Cemetery the same evening because of the disease that took her from them. But Jesus said, "Of such is the kingdom of heaven." ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/thomas/obits/c/connelly1852ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
