Johnson, assistant engineer of the Union Pacific railroad, died at her rooms in the Warden block in this city, last night at one o'clock. The cause of Mrs. Johnson's death was from sickness produced by child-birth. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson came here about five months ago, Mr. Johnson being engaged here in business connected with the Union Pacific road. They came here from Salina. Although residing in our city but a short time, Mrs. Johnson had made many friends, being a lady of estimable disposition and prepossessing ways. A large number of friends in this city mourn her untimely death and the entire community extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved and heart broken husband. The remains will be taken to Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Johnson's home, for interment and will leave by special train tomorrow morning for that city.
