Wilson D. JONES was born in Washington county, Pa., July11, 1857. He came west
in 1881 and finally settled in Thomas county, Kans., in 1885, on the place where
he died.
December 25, 1904, he was united in marriage to Mary KAUFMAN. To this union five
children were born, one child dying in infancy. He departed this life, January
10, 1919. he had been in poor health for some time. He is survived by his wife,
three sons, and one daughter, one brother, and other relatives and a large
circle of friends. He was an industrious citizen, and honest in his dealings
with those with whom he associated.
