The remains will be interred in the city cemetery tomorrow at 1 p.m. The members of the I.O.O.F. of Colby will have charge of the funeral. Mr. Peterson was born in Sweden but emigrated to this country at an early age. He formerly lived in Iowa, Ills., and Nebr., and moved to Thomas county in the spring of 1887. His life work was that of the ministry, and for many years he labored among the people of his own nationality. The immediate cause of his death was characteristic of his life. He contracted the fatal disease while soliciting aid in Illinois for the needy people of this county. For two months past he has labored inceasingly in this work. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death.
