The Colby Free Press, Thomas County, January 4, 1917


Dead.
Last Sunday morning at 12:30 occurred the death of one of Thomas countys oldest
citizens, Mrs. Katrina ROUPETZ who died at her home north of Colby and will be
buried Friday. Mrs. Roupetz came here in the early days and has been here since
that time on the farm where she died. She has no relatives except her children
in this country. The body lies at the Schroeder embalming establishment. We
extend our sympathy to those bereaved.
