She was united in marriage to J.F. SMALLWOOD in 1862. To this union were born six children, two of whom have preceded her to the home beyond. The husband and four daughters survive her, they are Mrs. Orpha PARKE of Delhi, California, Mrs. Grace CAPPS, of Menlo, Iowa, Mrs. Dora LUTTIG, of Topeka, Kansas, and Mrs. Rosa PRATT of Colby, Kansas. In 1863 she united with the christian church and has lived a consistant christian life since. For ten years she has been a great sufferer but through it all has been patient and kind.She died Saturday May 22 at 9 o'clock p.m. The funeral was held at the Methodist church conducted by Rev. Beauchamp Sunday p.m. at four o'clock.
