United in marriage, March 29, 1879 to John S. SMITH at Jacksonville, Illinois. To this union were born six children, two dying in infancy. Moved to Gem, Kansas, March 1889 at which place she resided until her death, April 8, 1916. Age 54 years, 3 months and 9 days.United with the German Lutheran Church while young, later with the Methodist Episcopal Church ast Gem at which place she was a faithful member at time of her death. She leaves to mourn her loss, husband, one daugher, three sons, two brothers, one half-brother, one sister and seven grandchildren besides a host of friends. The funeral services were held at the M.E. church by Rev. O.N. Wiles after which the remains were laid to rest in the Gem Cemtery. Card of Thanks.
