Young. Just as we were going to press last week we received the sad news of the death of Mrs. C.W. YOUNG, of Rovohl. She had been ill for several months and passed away on May 31, 1916. Her death was a terrible shock to her family and friends. She was born and raised in Illinois where at Knoxville, September 4, 1881, she married C.W. Young. To this union was born four children, one dead and three living. Rev. Weinland of this city assisted by the Salem choir conducted the service at the home where a large concourse of friends met to pay their last respects to a true friend and neighbor. Services were also held in this city by Rev. Weinland at the Methodist church where a large crowd packed the church in a last tribute to a noble woman and friend. She was dearly loved by her family and her neighbors. The Press joins with friends in sympathy to the heart broken family.
