Announcements were received the last of the week of the marriage of Mr. John B. PARROTT and Miss Martha BIEBER of this city, which occurred at the Methodist parsonage last Thursday night October 30. Rev. Sites, the Methodist minister here united the young couple in the holy bonds. The wedding was a complete surprise to the many friends of the couple here as they had kept it a secret until after it occurred. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Bieber of west of town and is a girl of sterling qualities who has the friendship and well wishes of all who know her. She has spent a good portion of her life in our midst and during the past few years has been one of the many successful school teachers of the county and last year was one of the teachers in the Colby city schools. The groom is one of the young business men of the city, having been connected with the Parrott Mining Company here for a number of years. He is now manager of that company's general merchandise store and has proved himself to be an honest upright young man in the business and social circles of the city. He has the respect of all who know him. The many friends of the happy young couple wish them success over the sea of wedded bliss. May their life together be of the happiest.
