Last Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Flood, occurred the marriage of their daughter Miss Margaret FLOOD to Mr. Clyde YOUNG, son of Charles Young of Colby. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Mullinhill of Goodland. The beautiful ring ceremony was used and the room was decorated in pink and white. After the ceremony was performed the guests repaired to the dining room and enjoyed a fine banquet prepared by the brides mother. The bride has lived the greater share of her life in Colby, is a graduate of the high school and has been a very successful teacher in Thomas county the past few years. She has the fine quality of making many friends who will all wish her happiness. The groom is well known in Thomas county. He is endeared with good habits and will do much towards making their life a success. Immediately after the wedding the bride and groom started east on their honeymoom in the grooms car for Illinois and other eastern states.
