The Colby Free Press, Thomas County, Thursday, December 31, 1914
Married at Gem Kansas on Dec. 24, Roy WEBB and Miss Edna QUEEN of that place.
The marriage occured at the home of the bride's parents, a few miles east of
Gem, in the presence of only a few of the immediate relatives of the couple. The
bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Queen, of the Gem country and has spent
a large portion of her life in this county where she has a host of friends. The
groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. WEBB, formerly of Gem, but now of Hugo,
Colorado and is well and favorably known over the east end of the county. We
have not learned where the couple will make their home but join with the many
friends in wishing them a long and happy life.
