The Colby Free Press, Thomas County, Thursday, January 6, 1916
Misner-Smith.
Mr. Ira MISNER of Rockford, Illinois, was united in marriage at Topeka, to Miss
Josie SMITH of that place, on Christmas day, December 25th. After their marriage
the bride and groom came to Colby to visit a few days with the groom's brother
and sistes, Mr. Joy Misner, Mrs. Dora JASPERSON and family. They left last
Thursday morning for Selden where they will visit a short time with Mrs.
Misner's father, thence to Topeka to visit relatives there, and then to their
home in Rockford, Illinois, where Mr. Misner has a good position awaiting him.
The Free Press joins with the relatives and friends in wishing them happiness
and contentment.
