The Colby Free Press, Thomas County, Thursday, October 31, 1912
Marriage license was issued last Saturday, October 26, by Probate Judge J.P.
Washburn, to Mr. Clarence L. KING and Miss Nettie E. WATERS of Levant, Kansas,
and on Sunday the happy couple drove down to this city and were quietly married.
The ceremony took place at eleven o'clock and was performed by Judge Washburn.
The bridegroom is too well known in this part of the couty to need any
recommendation from us, and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.W.
Waters of Levant and is well worthy of the young man of her choice. The Free
Press extends congratulations to the happy pair.
