Letter, Hassler & Co., Bankers, No. 7 Wall Street, New York, to Ashbel Upson, 
Camden, N.Y.: Your favor of 12 inst. enclosing $514. St. Jo & Den. Land Scrip 
is received.  Herewith please find our check in payment for same @ 7 1/2% which 
please acknowledge.

Printed post card sent to Ashbel Upson, Camden, NY, postmarked Mar. 28 
(probably also 1878):
   Railroad Bonds.- Whether you wish to buy or sell write to Hassler & Co., 7 
Wall Street, New York.  
   Land scrip of the Kansas and Nebraska Railway Company, formerly St. Joseph 
and Denver City, Western Division.  Bought by Hassler & Co.  After the 1st of 
May the Scrip will not be exchangeable for lands.
