Mrs. Carrie NATION gave to the Kansas W.C.T.U. last month a property consisting of two rooming houses and one cottage situtated on the corner of Kansas avenue and 12th street valued at $5,000. She name the institution W.C.T.U. Prohibition college. She desires it to be used as state headquarters for the W.C.T.U. open to all Christian charities and other purposes tending to the promotion of true liberty and loyalty. This magnificent gift was gratefully received after careful deliberation by the state executive committee who will take charge immediately and have selected Mrs. M.C.GELLETTE of Hutchinson as matron until fall when a full board will be elected.
