Mrs. Babb Dead.
The people here were shocked Saturday morning at the news of the death of Mrs.
BABB, who, with her family has been living the past few years on the Sprengle
place. She went to Lincoln about a week ago to take treatment. We are unable to
get any of the particulars, but understand that the body will be taken to
Monotezuma, Iowa for burial.
Mrs. Babb was a cheerful, helpful woman, a great worker for the new library and
she will be greatly missed here. She leaves a husband and three children to
mourn with her host of friends over her untimely death.
