On January 9, 1905, occurred the death of Mrs. Gertrude Roberts BOBBITT, age 29
years, 6 months and 6 days. She was married to F.H. Bobbitt April 15, 1896.
During her last illness Mrs. Bobbitt received kindly ministrations from friends
in prayer and song as well as in bodily comfort making her last hours as
pleasant as possible. She left a bright testimony of her acceptance with God and
assurance of a heavenly home. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Strickler
at the M.P. church on Wednesday. Deceased leaves a husband, four small children
and a host of friends to mourn her untimely death. --Clipper.
