An Old Citizen Gone.

Martin BOWERS who lives south of the Blocker church, died suddenly yesterday
morning. He was an early settler in this county, having come here in 1871. He
was a veteran of the civil war. He leaves a wife and eight children, besides a
large circle of relatives and friends to mourn for him.
