The Greenleaf Sentinel, Greenleaf, Kansas, February 20, 1913
J B CARTER DEAD
J B CARTER, formerly of Greenleaf, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs D
WALLACE, at Clifton, Tuesday of last week,February 11, 1913, and was buried in
the Odd Fellows cemetery at Clifton on Wednesday. Mr Carter was almost 77 years
of age and he made Greenleaf his home fro 24 years. He was an old soldier and a
member of the Greenleaf Post. He was the father of Mine CARTER of Greenleaf.

Additional Comments:
This appears to be John B Carter. He lived with his wife, Rosanne, in Greenleaf
in the 1880 census. They had four children in the census.
