Mrs. Crafford was born in Akron, Ohio, April 7, 1825, and at the time of her death was 81 years and 1 month old. Mrs. Crafford will be remembered by her friends here as the widow of Uncle Johnny Crafford. They came to this county in early days and homesteaded 1 1/2 mile west of town now know at the Harvey Markham place. Mrs. Crafford leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. Lipsey, with whom she made her home, and two sons, Ed Crafford, of Morrowville, and Long Crafford, of Crab Orchard, Neb., and one sister, Mrs. D. MATTESON, of this place, and a host of friends.
