Maude E. DAY, was born Jnaury 18th, 1884, in Riley, Co., near Lenardville, Kans., and died May 26th, 1904, and was at the time of her death, 20 years, 4 months and 8 days old, she leaves heart broken parents, brothers, sisters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. None knew but to love her Maude is dead but the influence of her Christian life remains a model to assist both young and old in battling with the trials and sorros of the world. By the ruthless hand of death the chain of love has been broken and a chair is vacant that never can be filled, all that loving hearts and willing hands could do was done yet all in vain, she bore her suffering patiently and on the evening of May 26th, the spirit took its flight to realms eternal. May the family so live that the circle will be unbroken in heaven is the wish of the writer. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Bower and the remains laid to rest in the Hollenberg cemetery. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/d/day1100ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
