This community was shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. F.F. FAHSHOLTZ Sunday
afternoon abotu three o'clock. She was in her usual health and attended church
in Linn Sunday morning. Returning home soon after dinner she complained of not
feeling welll and in short time passed away. The funeral was held at Linn
Tuesday afternoon conducted by Lehbauer of the Lutheran church and the body laid
to rest in the cemetery north of town. Mr. Fahsholtz came here last fall from
Nemeha and he purchased the Spiers farm two miles south of Linn. They have made
many friends since coming here who sympathize with the bereaved family in this
sad hour. Mrs. Fashsholtz ws 54 years old and leaves a husband, four sons and 3
daughters to mourn the departure of a loving wife, a kind affectionate mother
and the neighborhood has lost a good neighbor and friend.
