Ella Geatley.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."
Ella GEATLEY was born in Sheridan township, July 9, 1877. She died at her home
Sept. 10, 1909, after a lingering illness of seven weeks. Age 32 years, 2 months
and one day. Her life has been one beautiful lesson of patience and geltleness
to all her friends who were number by her acquaintances.
At the age of sixteen she began teaching and continued in the work she so dearly
loved for twelve years. She was loved and respected by all her pupils who will
never forget how she tried to lead them to higher ideals her own life being a
model.
Ella had a pure noble conscientious character and was loved by all who knew her.
She was a faithful and devoted member to her church always scattering seeds of
kindness along life's pathways.
She leaves to mourn her loss a mother and four sisters, besides a host of friends.
