Leuszler was born in Washington county, Kansas, January 13, 1878. Died after a lingering illness of typhoid malarial fever Nov. 4, 1905, aged 27 years, 9 months and 22 days. She was married to Edward Hotz Sept. 7, 1898. She leaves a husband, three children, her parents, a sister, three brothers and a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn her untimely death. She has always lived near Linn where she was well known. The funeral service was held at the M.E. church at Linn, Rev. Fawcett officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Spiers cemetery south of town. The bereaved husband and children have the heartfelt sympathy of al who knew the upright and exemplary character of the beloved wife and mother in the loss of them which will ever be fresh in their memories.
