Mary MAXWELL was born December 22nd, 1827, at Waterloo, Indiana, being 84 years, 9 months and 56 days old at the time of her death. In 1848 she untied in marriage to J J HUSSELMAN. To whom, were born three children, two having died in childhood. Mr and Mrs HUSSELMAN came to Kansas about thirty years ago, settling near Chepstow on a farm. Later they moved to Barnes where they resided until Mr HUSSELMAN's death two years ago. The couple having lived together 62 years. They were exceptionally fine people and will be remembered by a number of old settlers. Grandma HUSSELMAN had given a life time of service to God, joining the church in her youth. Besides her son, W H HUSSELMAN, and wife of Clifton, she leaves four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. Short funeral services were held at the home at Clifton Monday and later at the home of C J SOLT at Barnes, conducted by Rev. BEAR of the M E church at Clifton, assisted by Rev FOWLER of Barnes, and the remains were interred at Maplewood cemetery.
