December 28, 1883

Died Sunday, Dec. 9th, 1883, at 1:30 o'clock p.m., of heart disease, J.D. JUREY,
of Strawberry township, this county, aged 51 years, and 9 months. Mr. Jurey was
one of the first settlers of Strawberry township, and was highly respected by
all who knew his worth. He sank peacefully to rest, leaving a wife and seven
children to mourn their loss. He was an affectionate husband and loving father,
and will be sadly missed by the entire family.
