MANWARRING died at the home of his son, Sidney R., near Greenleaf, August 26. He was born in Lima county, in 1823 being nearly seventy-six years of age at the time of his death. In 1857 he located in Lafayette, Ind., where he was engaged on public workes helping to build the street railways of that city. In 1883 he came to Kansas and superintended the improvement of the fine 320 acre farm on which he has since lived. His wife died eight years since. He leaves two children, Sidney R., of Logan township and Charles, of Peoria, Ill. Mr. Manwarring was the youngest of a family of seven children; one survives hime, Mrs. F.N. DRAKE of Conring, N.Y. The funeral which was largely attended was held at the residence at 10 a.m Saturday Aug. 27, the Rev.
