Died:--In Morrowville, Oct. 30, 1896, Alexander McGREGOR, aged 81 years, 4
months and 14 days. He was the father of Geo. McGregor, a prosperous farmer near
Morrow. Alexander McGregor was born in Peotheshire, Scotland, June 17, 1815. He
joined the Presbyterian church at the age of 18 and lived a consecrated
Christian life, dying in the faith as he lived. His funeral was held in the
Morrow church Sunday by Rev. E.E. HOLLAR, and the remains laid to rest in the
Morrow cemetery.
