Mrs. McLaren.

Susan CREIGHTON was born in Amulree, Perthshire, Scotland, Jan. 3, 1825, married
James McLaren Jan. 1849, and in the same year united with the Presbyterian
church, came to Fond du Lac, Wis., in 1852, and in 1869 moved to Washington
county, Kansas, where she died March 15th, aged 81 years. She leaves a daughter
and two sons to mourn her loss, her husband and two daughters having preceeded her.

The funeral was held in the Morrowville church on March 16th, conducted by Dr.
Hageman, and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
