She was a member of the Brethren church. She had been a sufferer for over 32 years and just as the sun was sinking she closed her eyes never to awaken again. Her maiden name was Margaret TAYLOR. She was married in 1845 to Thomas McLaughlin and was the mother of nine children only four living. There were no relatives only one son, Frank McLaughlin, where she spent her last remaining days. She was ready and longed to go. Her funeral was preached by Mr. Martin Gauby. She was laid to rest in the Gaskill cemetery. Card of Thanks.
