Anna BENNINGER, was born the 16th of October, 1834 in Emberack, Kenton, Zurich, Switzerland and came to America in 1868. In 1870 she was married to Henry MEYER and came to Washington, Ks., where they endured all the hardships of pioneer life. She died of pneumonia Monday morning, February 14, 1910, aged 75 years, 3 months and 28 days. The same year of her marriage she was converted and united with the German Evangelical churcha nd remained a faithful consistent Christian character and her friends knew her but to love her. Besides a son, Herman Meyer, and a daughter, Mrs. Pauline BELL, she leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. The funeral which was largely attended was held from the house on East Ash Creek Tuesday, Feb. 15th at 1 o'clock conducted by Rev. Geyer of Greenleaf assisted by Rev.
