Mitchell, was born Aug. the 27th, 1875, near Waverly, Ill., and after an illness of several months, died near Haddam, Saturday Oct. 22nd at 11 a.m. aged 23 years, 1 month and 25 days. He leaves a kind father, loving mother and seven sisters to mourn their loss, but their loss is his gain. Bro. Mitchell professed converstion about three months before his death and gave evidence of his acceptance. He was conscious until the last and died happy saying that he was ready to go. The funeral services were held at the Hickory Grove Free Baptist church of which his parents were members, Monday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. A large concourse of people had assebled to pay their last tribute of respect to the dead. Rev. A.S.
