Last week Wednesday was a sad day for Mr. C.H. NELSON, living three miles southwest of the city. Two of his oldest children, aged about 3 or 4 years, were taken sick with was was supposed to be croup early in the morning and both died about noon. Mrs. Nelson, who had an infant only about a week old, was taken sick, soon after, and died about 10 o'clock at night, probably from heart disease and grief at the sudden loss of her two older children. Thus in one short day a happy, healthy family was broken up and all except the father and infant child were numbered among the dead. Mrs. Nelson was a lady much respected, aged only 26. The funeral took place at the residence of Mr. Nelson on Saturday, the services being conducted by Rev. J.G. Groenmiller of Hanover. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/n/nelson175ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
