Sarah Elizabeth NYCE died in her home Sunday morning, May 29, of apoplexy, age
68 years, 3 months and 7 days She was in her usual health at breakfast with the
family, laid plans for the day, at 8:30 a.m she was taken wtih a violent pain in
her head. Medical aid was immediatly summoned, but from the first it became
evident that she was in a most dangerous condition and that the chances were
such against her. All that a skillful physician, a loving sister, and brothers
could possibly do was done for her. In response to what's the matter auntie, by
her nephew, was, oh such a pain in my head, the last word she ever spoke, and at
9:45 a.m., she breathed her last, unconscious after the last sharp pain.
