Cora IDLET was born in Elsworth county, Kans., in 1881. Four years ago she was married to Henry PARKER. She departed this life on Friday, July 8th, at her home, 9 miles southwest of Stromsburg, at the age of 23 years, of tuberculosis. She leaves, to miss her, a husband, an infant daughter, father, mother and numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral which occurred Sunday afternoon from the family residence was so largely attended that it was necessary to hold the services in the grove. Rev. Reed of Benedict conducted the services. Eighty carriages followed the body to its last resting place in Benedict cemetery. This large gathering of neighbors and friends to pay their last respects is a testimony of the respect and esteem in which the departed was held by those who knew her. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/p/parker1083ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
