Parks. Evangeline McLUCAS, daughter of John and Emeline McLucas was born in Logansport, Ind., Aug. 31, 1855 and died near Hollenberg, Kan., Dec. 5, 1909. Came to Washington county with her parents in 1869. July 10, 1873 or 1878 she was married to Henry H. PARKS at Washington by Rev. Geo. HAGEMAN. Five children came to this union. The deceased was converted at the age of seventeen and has been a member of the Presbyterian church since. She leaves two sisters, one brother, husband, and four sons to mourn the loss, Walter H. having died in 1884 aged 26 days. Services were held at Emmons school house on Wednesday Dec. 8, 1909 conducted by Rev. PRINGLE. Interment was made in Emmons cemetery. Card of Thanks.
