Mr. Percy was a bacheor about 52 years of age, owned a farm near John D. HINKLE, at whose place he had made his home most of the time for twenty years, though he occasionally occupied his own house at which the shooting was done. He is said to be an Englishman and was quite well thought of by the community. Sheriff COLEMAN and Coroner WELCH went down to Barnes Monday and an inquest was held in the evening, the body having been brought to that town. Mr. Percy had not been feeling well for some days, and it is thought that in a fit of despondency the deed was committed. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/p/percy85ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
