Mrs POOR died very suddenly the result of apoplexy. Her death came Sunday, January 5th, and she was buried the following Wednesday. She was seventy-seven years old and was born in Carey, Ohio, coming to Blue Springs in 1874, and she continued to reside in the same house in Blue Springs all the years since. Mrs POOR visited her daughter in Greenleaf many times and had a large circle of friends in this town Additional Comments: William and Mary A Poor lived in Blue Springs, Gage Co., Nebraska in the 1910 census. She was listed as being 74 years old so I presume that this is the appropriate Mrs. Poor.
