Mrs. Christian L. Roberts.

Mrs. Almarinda GIVEN was born in Braxton Co., West Va., Sept. 25th, 1833.
In 1860 she moved to Kansas and was married to Christian L. ROBERTS in 1862.
They moved to Washington Co. in 1866, where she has had her home till her death
Oct. 1, 1910. 
Three daughters survive here to mourn her loss.
She has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church since the time of her
youth and has ever been a faithful and patient Christian.
A short service was held at their home at Morrowville, and then her remains were
taken to Emmons where the regular service was held, and she was quietly laid to
rest in the Emmons cemetery by the side of her husband, who had died March 12,
1888.
Services were conducted by M.O Moyer, pastor of the M.E. church at Morrowville.
