In losing the estimable lady we lose one of the countrys developers in the line of flowers. She grew many flowers that others did not know would grow in this climate. A friend remarked that she never thought of Mrs. Schaich but she thought of beautiful flowers. Her enjoyment of flowers was not only in the possession of them but she always enjoyed giving them to her friends. One could always count on her for baskets of such beautiful ones for Memorial, Easter, etc. Many of her neighbors have some choice plant, vine or shrub growing in their garden an ever lasting memorial to Mrs. Schaich. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/s/schiach1478gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 2.4 Kb
