Tuesday morning death put an end to the long suffering of Nellie SWAN, she died at the home of County Treasurer P. DARBY. Had she lived to Dec. 3, she would have been 20 years old. She was born here Dec. 3, 1877, and has three brothers living and one sister. She was a devout Christian and died strong in the hope of Christ, being a member of the Christian church. For some time her friends have expected her death soon after her complaint of consumption, an ailment that most always deceives its victim till all hope is gone. Her funeral was conducted by Rev. Bowman in the Darby home, and the remains were taken to Haddam and buried beside father and mother and one brother. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/s/swan1376gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
