GILBERT of Linn called at this office Wednesday. He informed us of the sudden death of D.C. TROUP of that city, a gentleman who has lived in this state for the past thirty years or more and was at one time editor of the Linn Digest. Mr. Troup had been peforming his usual amount of labor Tuesday and complained in the evening of not feeling just right. He has charge of the Woodman hall and asked his son to light up as the thought he would go to the drug store for some medicine. After he had gotten home with the medicine he started to bed but fell on the way and died on the spot. He was afflicted with heart trouble and that is thought to be the cause of his sudden death. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon from the M.E. church. He leaves a wife and four children, three of his sons being engaged in business at Linn. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/t/troup1118ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
