Mrs. Catherine Werner.
Mrs. Catherine WERNER, wife of Jacob WERNER, died Sunday, Jun. 20, aged 72
years, 5 months and 16 days.
Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church Tuesday, June 22, after
which the remains were laid to rest in the Hanover cemetery, south of town. Ms.
Werner with her husband settled on a farm about one mile south of Hanover in an
early day, and was a very devout christian. She was always ready to assit the
needy or tose in distress, not only in words but deeds. Mrs. Werner had been in
poor health for a number of years and although everything that medical skill and
loving hands could do was done, but no avail. Deceased leaves an aged husband
and a number of grown children to mourn her death.--Hanover Herald.
