The deceased was married July 25, 1850, in Warren county, Indiana, to James R. WHITE. They removed in 1863 to Holton, Kan., and three years later to this county where they have since resided. The deceased was the mother of ten children, five boys and five girls, all of whom survive here except one boy. She united with the Brethren church October 17, 1902, and was baptized by Brother John Gauby. She was a patient sufferer for some time previous to her death, and when the time of disolution arrived she assured all that she was ready to depart and rest in peace with God. The end of this life came to her June 2, and the funeral services were held Friday, June 3, at the Brethren church in this city. The funeral was well attended and a large number of mourning relatives and friends followed the remains to the city cemetery where she quietly sleeps until the last trumpet shall sound. The deceased leaves an aged husband who with her children have the sympathy of many friends. ==== KS-FOOTSTEPS Mailing List ==== File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ks/washington/obits/w/white1155ob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
